CONCEPT DESIGN
Instamenu
Instamenu is an independently constructed mobile application idea. What started off as a simple class assignment, was designed to a more functional prototype of what I picture to be a revolutionary way of eliminating the need for restaurant menus. Considering that I worked on this independently as a side project, a different approach was taken towards the completion of this design. The purpose of this concept design is to eliminate these common user frustrations:
1. Waiting for the server to give you a menu.
2. Deciphering the Menu.
3. Getting tempted by beautiful high caloric food items
4. Not finding a picture of the food item you want.
5. Having to be extra careful about your food allergies/restrictions.
6. Looking at the bill after you’re done eating, and being surprised by the price.
Target audience:
-
Anyone who prefers to eat out.
-
Anyone on a diet.
-
Anyone with food allergies: Peanuts, Lactose, Gluten, etc..
-
Anyone with dietary preferences: Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian.
-
Anyone with food restrictions: Muslims, and Jews.
